Liminal state of mind
"Liminal" refers to the transitional or in-between state of being, often characterized by ambiguity, uncertainty, and a sense of being on the threshold between two different conditions or phases.
ABOUT me
My name is Mike Rogers, and over the past 50 years I have been through my share of life changes; multiple careers, moving to new cities, new and lost relationships, undergrad and graduate school, spiritual loss and gain, getting married and raising children, as well as, experiencing personal traumas and loss. I've learned that we cannot always control the events that cause change, however, we can learn how to more effectively navigate the transitions.

So, what's the difference between change and transition?

Change refers to the external events or circumstances that occur in our lives. It can be a new job, a relocation, a relationship ending, or any other situation that is different from what we are accustomed. Transition, on the other hand, is the internal psychological and emotional process that individuals go through to come to terms with a new situation or change. It involves adjusting to the new reality, accepting the change, and finding a way to move forward.

This is why I started Liminal Pathways. I merged my years of consulting and therapy experience, along with my personal experiences, to develop a coaching business to help guide people through their personal transition.
